Kootenay Region Support Groups

The support groups offer support to individuals living in the Kootenays region. The groups will meet in-person at the Rocky Mountain Behaviour Analysts office located at 108 B 7th Ave South. Cranbrook, B.C. V1J 2J4. Additionally, the group will be connected to a web live session with a BC Epilepsy Society facilitator and an in-person volunteer.

This group is structured to provide emotional support, allow people to share their experiences and feelings, and learn from each other. Group discussions are focused around common experiences or concerns, and questions.

Two group meetings occur on the second Tuesday of each month:

  • The first group will be for individuals living with epilepsy between the ages of 18 – 24. This group will run from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST).
  • A second group will take place for parents of children living with epilepsy. This group will run from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST).

Attendees must contact the BC Epilepsy Society staff prior to the meeting date to register. To register, please call 604-875-6704 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
