Easter Fun at Home!
Easter is fast approaching, and we are excited to let you know that BC Premier, John Horgan, recently announced a “Special Eggs-Emption” for the Easter Bunny and has declared the Easter Bunny as an “essential service worker”. The Easter Bunny has been given special permission to travel into and throughout BC for annual egg-delivering duties. Find out more here.
However, with the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic still ongoing, it is important for all of us to practice valuable physical distancing and stay at home to ensure that our communities remain safe and healthy, even during the upcoming Easter long weekend.
This means that we will not be able to gather with friends and family during Easter so our Easter celebrations might look a little different, but have no fear, we have some ideas for you for at-home Easter celebrations that can done while physical distancing. Check out our ideas below:
- Virtual Easter Egg Hunts:
- Virtual Easter Events
- Check out the virtual Big Bunny Run for Easter here
- Easter Crafts:
- “Hang out” virtually with family and friends
- Try using FaceTime, Skype, Zoom or any other videochat software to have a virtual Easter celebration with family and friends
We hope these ideas help you and your family to have a fun-filled and safe at-home Easter celebration, even while practicing valuable physical distancing. The BC Epilepsy Society and the I AM A VOICE for Epilepsy Awareness™ wish everyone a Happy Easter!
