Donate in Memory, Honour or Celebration
Most people are familiar with the practice of making a charitable donation in memory or in honour of a family member, friend or loved one. After you have done so, the BC Epilepsy Society can send acknowledgment “in memoriam” cards to a family after their loss to let them know about your gift. The amount of the gift is not given in the card.
On the other hand, most people don’t know about the concept of “in celebration” gifts. When families host a celebration event like a birthday, wedding, anniversary, graduation party, or some other family event, they can ask guests to make a donation to the BC Epilepsy Society rather than bringing a present.
We hope that you will consider either option in benefit of the BC Epilepsy Society. The gifts can be directed to epilepsy research or programs. Tax receipts are also available to donors.
