6th Annual BC Epilepsy Symposium
On Saturday October 13th, BC Epilepsy Society Executive Director, Kim Davidson participated in the 6th Annual BC Epilepsy Symposium, co-organized by epilepsy clinics in BC and UCB Canada Inc., held at the Fairmont Waterfront in Vancouver.
The BC Epilepsy Symposium supports epilepsy education in the BC community, bringing together neurologists, epileptologists, residents, nurses, psychologists, technologists, scientists and other support staff from across the country.
At the symposium, Kim took part in Epilepsy Virtual Reality Sessions put on by UCB Canada Inc (pictured below). As a former person with epilepsy who had seizures, Kim mentioned that the virtual reality session was very well done in showing what it is like to experience a seizure.
