WORKSHOPS:
Our Epilepsy Workshops cover epilepsy awareness, how to recognize the different types of seizures, the general guidelines of seizure first aid, some of the safety considerations involved with epilepsy.
School Workshops for Teachers: Workshops geared towards teachers also include information on ways they can support the academic and social needs of their students with epilepsy. These workshops are an excellent addition to school professional developmental day activities or staff meetings. Teachers across BC find our Epilepsy Workshops to be helpful and informative. Click here for a letter about our Epilepsy Workshops.
School Workshops for Students: Workshops geared towards students also include fun and age-appropriate lessons on epilepsy and seizures. These workshops help to address stigma, teach students about epilepsy and seizures and empower them to learn how to be a good friend to a fellow student living with epilepsy.
Workplace Workshops: Workshops put on at workplaces also include information on workplace accommodations that can be put into place to support employees living with epilepsy, to ensure that they are safe, and help them to perform their job at their very best.
