From August 19th to August 20th, 2023, Chris Winwood, a cyclist living with epilepsy, will be leading the Ride 4 Epilepsy, which is a charity bike ride from Prince George, BC to Jasper, AB.
Chris will donating the funds raised to the BC Epilepsy Society, to be dedicated to people living with epilepsy and their families in the North as his goal is to help create a strong, diverse, and positive community for people with epilepsy in the North so that they can find other people who also have epilepsy and share their stories and learn from one another, find strength in one another, and support one another.
Chris’s other goal is to raise epilepsy awareness and to show people that epilepsy doesn’t have to take what you’re passionate about away from you and that it isn’t out of reach as long as you are smart, safe, and capable of handling the situation and have good people around you to help you when you need it.
